The Federation works to empower Bank Mitras socially, economically, and professionally by providing them with a strong, unified platform.
Bank Mitras, also known as Customer Service Point (CSP) operators or Business Correspondents (BCs), are the backbone of financial inclusion in India. They deliver essential banking services such as cash deposits and withdrawals, account openings, pension disbursements, subsidy payments, and more—right at the doorstep of people who otherwise lack access to formal banking.
